Lovely hotel in a nice location. Basic but clean rooms with a superb balcony overlooking the lake. The restaurant is reasonably priced and offers delicious French cuisine. The staff are friendly and helpful. Well located for exploring the area. The host was very friendly and provided me with a delicious sandwich when I arrived early. The evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic, with fresh food and great flavors. Clean and comfortable room with a wonderful view of the lake. Quiet location, perfect for touring the national park. Excellent fixed-price menu and fair wine prices. Helpful and friendly staff, despite limited English.

Breakfast options were limited.

The views from the balcony were breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful lake. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing assistance with our luggage. the breakfast was delicious, with tasty croissants and good coffee.

The hotel appeared a bit tired and in need of some renovation. the noise from the croaking frogs kept us awake at night, forcing us to close the balcony door.

We tried out the pedaloes on the lake and it was so much fun! We even raced each other and almost fell in, it was hilarious. We also visited Condat, which was only 2 km away. It was a cool little town with a laid-back vibe. the activities were a blast!

Only thing that could've been better was if they had organized some parties or events for young people like us. It would've been awesome to meet other teenagers and have a great time together.

I always come back to this amazing place. Friendly staff, they even helped me with bug spray once. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, bar, restaurant, picnic area. Can't wait for the weekend!

The location of the hotel by the tranquil lake was fine. The picturesque views from my room were amazing, making me feel completely at peace. The staff were warm and cute, making me feel right at home. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The highlight was definitely the excellent view over the lake. I also enjoyed the delicious meals at the restaurant with a great selection of local wines. Exploring the beautiful Auvergne region was made possible by this convenient stopover. I highly recommend this hotel for a tranquil and enjoyable experience.

I recently stayed at Le Lac Des Moines for a few nights. The hotel had a charming atmosphere, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The croissants were particularly good, and the coffee was excellent. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the lake - it was worth staying just for that. The staff were helpful and friendly, and even assisted with our luggage. The evening meal in the restaurant was a fantastic example of French cuisine, with fresh and flavoursome dishes. a great experience and excellent value for money.
